Our client, a respected and growing CPA and advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join its Fort Smith office.

This role provides an excellent balance of compliance work, tax planning, technical research, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities Tax Preparation & Compliance- Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and S-corporation tax returns
- Review client financial information and supporting documentation
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy
- Assist with special tax projects and engagement deadlines
- Research tax laws and complex technical issues
- Assist with tax planning strategies and projections
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and efficiencies
- Support consulting and advisory engagements
- Stay current on tax law changes and industry developments
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters
- Assist clients with information requests and reporting needs
- Help resolve tax-related questions and concerns
- Deliver responsive and professional client service
- Assist with IRS and state tax notice responses
- Support the resolution of tax-related inquiries
- Prepare documentation and supporting schedules
- Help clients navigate regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with professional standards
- Continue expanding technical tax knowledge

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
