Your role and responsibilities:
ABB is seeking a strategic portfolio manager to lead the development and optimization of a new business venture built around ABB's Climate and Commercial portfolio.
In this position, you will shape the strategic direction of a multi-product offering, develop the go-to-market strategy for this emerging market opportunity, and create a multi-year roadmap that guides the business from launch through optimization. You'll ensure optimal resource allocation and maintain a healthy, vibrant portfolio that supports broader business objectives while establishing ABB's competitive presence in this new market segment.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Define and execute the offering strategy, including products, solutions, and services, aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Lead portfolio growth and market expansion by developing go-to-market strategies, identifying market gaps, and strengthening ABB's competitive position.
- Own the product portfolio roadmap and lifecycle strategy, establishing multi-year plans, success metrics, and direction based on customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights.
- Drive cross-functional portfolio performance and execution by aligning commercial, engineering, and operations resources to optimize product vitality, profitability, and strategic outcomes.
Qualifications for the role:
- Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years proven experience in portfolio management, product strategy, or business planning with responsibility for driving growth and market success.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical related industrial markets, dealing with Air Handling or Fan applications.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across commercial, engineering, and operations organizations.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and financial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
- Experience managing multi-product portfolios and developing long-term roadmaps in competitive market environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to align technical and commercial stakeholders around strategic objectives.
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
