The New York Times is seeking reporters with a local story idea to investigate under the guidance of esteemed editors. Fellows will be based in the communities they report on and will travel to Times offices for training and support.

This one-year Local Investigations Fellowship is open to candidates with a Louisiana, Mississippi, or Arkansas focus. The program is competitive and requires authorization to work in the United States; visas are not sponsored.
