Opportunity:
Dispatcher 2nd Shift

We have an exciting opportunity for a Dispatcher 2nd Shift in our Fort Smith, AR office.

Hours

Tues­day through Saturday 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM Midnight with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Receive emergency and non‑emergency calls from customers and dispatch information to the appropriate members of the team.
  • Schedule work orders for completion.
  • Maintain accurate reports and logs of daily activities.
  • Monitor the SCADA System and alert Gas Control of any alarms or problems regarding AOG’s pipeline system.
  • Use a two‑way radio system to quickly communicate information.
Must Haves / Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • A calm and compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and address emergency situations.

The position is covered under the D.O.T. regulations and Summit Utilities Drug and Alcohol Policy and is, therefore, subject to all terms of the Policy, including the random selection for drug testing.
