What you will do:- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Commercial Sales Offices nationwide
- Process customer orders and manage them throughout their lifecycle
- Answer incoming inquiries from Sales Offices regarding order changes, order expedites, product returns, and other general inquiries
- Research and resolve any customer issues
- Work cross-functionally with sales offices, product management, factories, finance, scheduling, logistics, and shipping to meet customer requirements
- Proactively keep current on product knowledge and customer service standard work
- Use problem solving skills to improve processes
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, inside and/or outside sales, preferably in an industrial environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Must show the ability to handle difficult situations while remaining professional and courteous
- Must demonstrate the ability to build strategic relationships across functions of an organization
- Must exhibit the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and take initiative to implement them
- Must actively seek and apply new knowledge, assimilate information quickly, and contribute to a culture of learning
