Position SummaryDental Hygiene faculty pool position. Applicants will be contacted as positions become available. The position reports to the department head/program director/dean who assigns responsibilities regarding student needs and course outcomes.

- Maintain a positive work atmosphere and foster teamwork
- Ensure consistent on‑time attendance
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Master’s degree in the discipline or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in the subject area (or a doctorate degree for master’s‑level courses). Adjunct faculty with clinical assignments must be prepared at the level required by accreditation; occupational and technical areas generally require an associate’s degree and related work experience.
- Preferred: Prior teaching experience.

- Good organizational skills and timeliness in responding to student inquiries
- Ability to engage learners from diverse educational backgrounds in a multicultural environment
- Ability to deliver course outcomes through varied teaching/learning styles
- Effective use of technology in teaching

- Strong interpersonal relationships with students and colleagues
Work with faculty, staff, and students in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment; may also contact vendors, personnel from other agencies and institutions, and the general public.
Other DetailsWork performed primarily in an office setting. The employee regularly uses a computer; may sit for extended periods, occasionally stand and walk, and lift items up to 50 pounds. Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime and travel required.
