- Provide quality direct patient care for a group of young children, including serving mealtimes, assisting with feeding, diapering, and dressing
- Provide developmentally appropriate behavioral guidance within daily scheduled activities
- Follow the direction of the Early Childhood Development Specialist to provide individualized developmental services in assigned treatment rooms
- Deliver child-centered, family-focused, evidence-based or best-practice intervention
- Establish exciting learning environments for young children
- Apply curriculum to address objectives in each child’s treatment plan
- High School Diploma or GED
- 6 months experience working in the care of children
- Additional education including CCOT, CDA, AA, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field may be substituted for the experience requirement
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Proof of Veteran Status, Resume, Unofficial/Official Transcript(s)
- Subject to pre-employment screening, including criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification
- Ability to perform required physical activities, including crawling, crouching, kneeling, lifting, manipulating items with fingers, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, talking, walking, and occasional sitting
Demonstrates the ability to provide quality direct patient care for young children, including individualized developmental services and behavioral guidance. Capable of creating engaging learning environments and applying curriculum to meet treatment plan objectives.
