We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Asset Data. This hybrid role requires working from our office in Little Rock, or Fort Smith, Arkansas.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Supervisor of Asset Data serves as a key contributor in supporting our field employees and customers by overseeing drafting activities as assigned for gas pipeline projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Policies and applicable laws pertaining to assigning and directing work; providing training; appraising performance; rewarding and providing positive corrective action when needed; resolving employee issues.
  • Lead team members completing construction drawing development, as-built drawings, and post construction mapping.
  • Responsible for working with the Engineering, Operations, and Construction teams to map proposed and completed construction projects.
  • Assist in developing and supervising a multi-year program in collaboration with the Pipeline Integrity and GIS departments to populate missing and correct inaccurate data to support the implementation of company risk models.
  • Provide support with process issues to optimize productivity.
  • Recommend solutions to data management issues to improve the efficiency of existing processes.
  • Prioritize workload of team members in a manner that supports Pipeline Safety and the timely closing of work orders.
  • Assist in the preparation of Company technical specifications.
  • Supervise OQ program within department to ensure compliance with Company OQ requirements.
  • Utilize computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create and edit applicable construction drawings, civil engineering site plans, detail drawings, mapping, and natural gas system appurtenances (e.g., regulator stations, valves, fittings).
  • Mapping easements and Land Base for subdivisions and pipelines as constructed.
  • Developing isometric drawings
  • Create material lists for projects, and other duties as required of a qualified Drafting Supervisor
  • Organize and maintain as-built records for field installations.
  • Will be expected to learn all skills for any machine and/or software necessary to accomplish tasks and all other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple Company departments (GIS, Pipeline Safety, Operations, Construction, Business Development, Legal, Plant Accounting).
  • Support preparation of documents required by state, local, and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Passing required field evaluations and tests for continuing education (OQ)
  • Other duties as assigned by Asset Data Manager
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an ABET accredited University in Engineering or GIS with three years of experience in a regulated natural gas utility; or
  • Minimum of five years related (natural gas) experience and/or training.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
  • High level of project management knowledge and skills exhibited by the ability to develop and complete a project plan while having the adaptability to make appropriate changes when required.
  • Excellent organizational planning skills required with demonstrated quality and thoroughness on each assignment.
