Civil Designer

Overview

For more than 70 years, Mickle Griffin has played a key role in shaping infrastructure across the Arkansas River Valley. Our in‑house team delivers surveying, civil design, geotechnical coordination, roadway work, water resources, community representation, and construction observation — all under one roof.

We’re growing and looking for an Entry to Mid‑Level Civil Designer to join our team.

• Produce construction drawings for commercial and residential developments, linear infrastructure, and treatment plant projects
• Support ALTA, Boundary, and Topographic survey deliverables
• Process survey data and prepare record (as‑built) documentation
• Assist with plats, site development, roadway layouts, utilities, surfaces, and grading in Civil 3D
• Work closely with engineers, surveyors, and field representatives in a collaborative team environment

• Experience with Digital Design or Civil 3D (surfaces, alignments, networks, profiles, cross-sections, grading, parcels, sheet sets, etc.)
• Understanding of civil design, survey or workflows
• Ability to read and interpret plats, survey documents, and construction plan sets
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Experience with aerial imagery tools or survey fieldwork
• Familiarity with Bluebeam sessions and markup tools
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Planner, Teams, Excel, etc.)

• Work on a wide mix of civil and survey-driven projects
