Engineering Technician II

Job Summary

As an Engineering Technician II, you will modify standardized motor designs to meet customer requirements using lean design principles and guidelines. This role requires a moderate level of electrical and/or mechanical motor design and analysis competency.

• Creating and modifying drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers and manufacturing to ensure that all customer requirements are met.
• Review industry standards for requirements and compliance.
• Create and modify BOMs and other documentation to support customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with all functions of the business in driving quality and process improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with leaders on expediting documentation changes.

• Enrolled in an engineering or technical program.
• Possess strong problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills.

• Enrolled in an Engineering Program.
• 5+ years of electric motor manufacturing experience.
• Possesses strong problem‑solving skills with experience in IHP motor design and process desired.
