As an Engineering Technician II, you will modify standardized motor designs to meet customer requirements using lean design principles and guidelines. This job requires a moderate level of electrical and/or mechanical motor design and analysis competency. We are looking for someone with the drive to learn, enthusiasm to exceed customer expectations, and persistence to solve complex technical challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and modifying drawings.
- Coordinate with engineers and manufacturing to ensure that all customer requirements are met
- Review industry standards for requirements and compliance
- Create and modify BOM's and other documentation to support customer and manufacturing requirements
- Collaborate with all functions of the business in driving quality and process improvement initiatives
- Will work closely with leaders on expediting documentation changes
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum Qualification:
- Enrolled in an engineering or technical program
- Possess strong problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills
Preferred
Qualification:
- Enrolled in an Engineering Program
- 5+ years of electric motor manufacturing experience
- Possesses strong problem-solving skills with experience in IHP motor design and process desired.
