Surgical Tech, Medical Assistant
Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and guiding principles.
Position Details:
Minimum Qualifications (Level
II):
New Grads/Complex/Routine;
Supports Multiple Service Lines and consistently supports a 24-Hour Opportunity Location
Education:
High-School Diploma or GED and Successful completion of a Postsecondary certificate or associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited surgical technology program are required. You may be asked to provide proof of education.
Licensure-Certification:
Certified Surgical First Assistant, Certified Surgical Assistant, or Surgical Assistant - Certified. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Experience:
Experienced with complex and routine cases. Completes all competencies in previous levels in addition to:
Basic competencies of a Certified Surgical Technologist First Assist.
Other:
Must understand English both written and spoken, must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
