RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts in a 3x12 schedule

• 36 guaranteed hours per week

• Every other weekend requirement

• No call requirements

• Patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1 on a 32-bed unit

• Float to stepdown and medical surgery units

• Use EPIC electronic medical records system

• Required certifications:
Current Arkansas licensure, BLS, ACLS

• 2+ years of experience required

• CCRN certification preferred

• Must pass medication and math competency test with 90% passing grade before assuming medication administration responsibilities

• Exam covers knowledge of drug actions, side effects, correct dosages, and IV problems

• One retake allowed if initial exam is failed

• Fast-paced unit environment seeking upbeat and driven nurses

• Dress code requires black scrubs with no open-toe shoes
