Logistics Planner – Bilingual (English/French)

Location:

Independence, OH – Rockside Woods Blvd – Management – AMG-Corp

Compensation: $28.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

6am – 6pm, 12‑hour shifts with 8 additional hours of overtime every other week

Location Requirement:
Candidates must live within a 60‑minute drive of Independence, OH (fully on‑site, no remote options)

The Logistics Planner reports to the Logistics Manager and works closely with Logistics Analysts to forecast and schedule bulk product deliveries, ensuring top‑level service and operational efficiency while maintaining safety standards and DOT compliance.

• Forecast, adjust, plan, and schedule deliveries of bulk cryogenic gases to meet service deadlines.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of bulk gases to internal and external customers through proactive communication and schedule adjustments.
• Maintain the validity of computer input data to process customer information accurately and exceed expectations.
• Extensively communicate and coordinate with production, distribution, sales, drivers, and other departments to execute daily functions.
• Support the Airgas Merchant Gases safety culture and assist drivers in adhering to DOT rules while optimizing delivery efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in French
• Availability to work any 12‑hour shift, including weekends

• College degree with emphasis in operations management, logistics, or business administration
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry
