Team Lead Scheduling - NADC Planning

Location: White, GA (NADC)

Reports To: Planning Manager, NADC Supply Chain

Position Summary: The Team Lead Scheduling is responsible for leading daily scheduling operations within the North America Distribution Center (NADC), ensuring reliable, efficient, and aligned execution of outbound planning and shipment readiness. The position requires close coordination with cross‑functional stakeholders, including Transportation Planners, Warehouse Operations, Inventory, and Transportation, to align priorities and maintain operational stability. The Team Lead Scheduling is also accountable for team leadership, performance management, and continuous process improvement within the scheduling function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end scheduling process (wave planning, shipment creation, priority management).
  • Translate planning inputs into actionable daily schedules aligned with operational capacity and constraints.
  • Ensure schedule readiness for outbound execution, including picking, consolidation, and shipment processing.
  • Manage real‑time operational adjustments and exception handling to maintain service levels.
  • Coordinate with Planning, Inventory, Quality Control, Outbound Operations, and Transportation teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for scheduling‑related issues and constraints.
  • Facilitate communication between planning and execution teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Monitor and report on scheduling and operational KPIs (e.g., on‑time shipment, schedule adherence, backlog).
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive corrective actions and ensure adherence to established planning and scheduling processes.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of scheduling planners.
  • Establish clear priorities, roles, and accountability within the team.
  • Foster a high‑performing and collaborative team environment.
  • Identify and implement improvements to global scheduling processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Support the transition toward standardized and system‑driven global planning and scheduling practices.
  • Contribute to broader global supply chain and planning transformation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years in supply chain, warehouse operations, or planning/scheduling roles.
  • Experience in a distribution center or logistics environment preferred.
  • Prior experience in a team lead or supervisory role is an asset.
Skills & Competencies
  • Operational & Functional: Strong understanding of warehouse operations, scheduling, and order fulfillment processes;
    Ability to translate planning data into executable operational plans.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team development capabilities;
    Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision‑making skills.
  • Analytical & Systems: Data‑driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance trends;
    Experience with ERP/WMS systems and data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) preferred.
