Job Title:Live Haul Driver Department: 332 Fort Smith Live Haul Shift
Hours:
12:00 am - 12:00 pm 3rd Shift Pay Rate: 28.00 Per hour.

Fort Smith, AR
Summary Transports chickens from broiler farms to the plants by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drives a truck to transport chickens from the broiler farms to the plants.
Picks up chickens at the farms.
Delivers chickens to live haul.
Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.
Binds and unbinds cages.
Must comply with all D.O.T. and State driver training and documentation requirements.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and oneyearof verifiable driving experience, clean driving record and PSP Report.
This position requires a Tank Endorsement. Previous Live Haul experience a plus.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate hours of service, complete log book pages and calculate and report hours worked.
