Apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills to install, maintain, and modify plant equipment services and facilities. This is a safety-sensitive role.

• Diagnose and repair electrical, PLC, and VFD control system problems for processing, packaging, and material handling equipment, plant HVAC, compressed air, vacuum, fire protection systems, and physical structure.
• Mechanically and electrically install processing, packaging, and material handling equipment and systems according to work orders and engineering specifications.
• Support equipment startup for projects, including operator training, operation instructions, equipment manuals, safety procedures, and revision of drawings to final "as built" form.
• Provide technical advice to resolve equipment problems for engineering, maintenance, and production personnel.
• Maintain housekeeping practices in accordance with Plant Visual Factory standards in the assigned area.
• Follow all applicable PRUSA security, safety, environmental, quality, procedural, and food safety policies.
• Wear required PPE – safety vests, eye protection, ear plugs, safety harnesses, hard hats, etc.

• Demonstrate commitment to PR USA, Fort Smith QSE Management System policies and procedures, and dedication to operational excellence, business performance, and sustainability.
• Produce quality products with a focus on customer satisfaction and cost-effective operations.
• Identify and reduce product safety risks and practice good manufacturing practices.
• Practice safety awareness and safe work practices to ensure health and welfare of employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Protect the environment through recycling, minimizing waste, and conserving natural resources.

• Education – High School or GED (required). Preferable 2-year Associate Degree in Electronics or Electrical Trade.
• Experience – 3 years Industrial Maintenance Technician or equivalent background.
• Technical Functional Skills
  • Boiler license (a plus)
  • Waste Water Treatment Operators license (a plus)
  • Disassembly and repair of gear reducers and pumps
  • Welding of steel, stainless steel, and other metals
  • Cutting with torch for smooth results
  • Pipe fitting
  • Layout and fabrication of components from prints and shop sketches
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems for motor and equipment controls up to 480 V three-phase
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting
  • VFD drive programming and troubleshooting
  • Maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing electrical control systems
• Competencies – Knowledge and skill in mechanical and electrical maintenance, safety, and quality standards.
