2nd Shift: Fort Smith Feed Mill

Dept: 217 - Premix Feed Mill Operator

Shift Time: 4 pm - 1 am

Pay Rate: $18.50

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Always keep the premix ingredient bins full.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels of ingredients in the premix area.
• Always keep the premix areas and the ingredient warehouse clean and tidy.
• Filling out the premix ingredient log.
• Always keep the premix logs up to date.
• Take samples of ingredients and feed.
• Run ingredients and feed bin checks.

This position involves operating a forklift. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This is a safety sensitive position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions;

moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
