Basic Job FunctionsThe LMF/VTD Second Helper is responsible for the safe and accurate operation of equipment associated with the LMF and/or VTD, including maintaining and operating all lab equipment at the VTD and/or LMF lab. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications- One year of melt shop experience
- Prior LMF/VTD/Lab experience
- Prior overhead crane experience
