Production Worker - 2nd Shift - Fort Smith, AR

Shift Time: 4:55 p.m. – End of Shift

Department: 1502 Production Worker

Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties:

• Set up and tear down workstation and line as required
• Remove tenders from carcass
• Sort and grade product
• Make boxes
• Bag finished product
• Pack bagged product into boxes
• Tape boxes
• Scale boxed product to required weight
• Label boxes as applicable to customer specifications
• Maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner

Position requirements:

• Stand, walk and reach with hands and/or arms for prolonged periods
• Lift and/or move 25-40 pounds regularly

Work environment and safety:

• Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold
• Occasional exposure to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud

• Weekly attendance incentive of $1 per hour
• Night shift premium of $1 per hour
