Production

Poultry Processor-Production Laborer located in De Queen, Arkansas.

Positions start at $16.65 per hour for 1st shift and $18.15 per hour for 2nd shift plus an attendance bonus of $2.75 per hour if qualifications are met.

• Process product using tools, manual labor and equipment in accordance with USDA and company product standards and procedures.
• Process product according to operating procedures and quality/quantity expectations.
• Observe equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of malfunctions and safety issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist others with the skills and knowledge gained.
• Follow all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks, consistently practice and enforce safe work habits.
• Participate in process improvement and problem solving using continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies.
• Follow all company animal welfare guidelines.
• Perform other duties as directed.

• Must be able to work safely.
• Must be able to work shift assigned days/nights, including some Saturdays.
• Ability to apply common sense and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to work in cool temperatures (around 40°F).
• Ability to stand, use hands and work 8-11 hours per day.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Must be a team player and willing to work close to others at some stations that are less than 3 feet apart.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Good hand and eye coordination required.
