Position: Production Worker – 1st Shift – Fort Smith, AR ) (405)
Shift Time: 7:55 a.m. – 4:55 p.m.
Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour.
Division/Dept: 1st Shift – Debone Plant;
Dept. 405 – Production Worker.
- Assist in the production of quality food products by performing duties applicable to a specific task or department.
- Set up and tear down workstation and line as required.
- Remove tenders from carcass; sort and grade product; make boxes; bag finished product; pack bagged product into boxes; tape boxes.
- Scale boxed product to the required weight; label boxes as applicable to customer specifications; maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
- Ability to stand for extended periods; walk; reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25-40 pounds.

- This is a safety sensitive position.
- Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; and extreme cold.
- Occasional exposure to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
