Production Supervisor

Schedule: 12‑hour shifts on a two‑week rotation with a 3‑day weekend every other week. Week 1: 36 hours (Monday, Thursday, Friday). Week 2: 48 hours (Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday). Shifts rotate between Day & Night every 28 days.
Job Summary: The Shift Leader embodies the 100% Leader concept, balancing challenge with connection to enable the team to exceed safety, quality, productivity, and financial expectations. As a key TPM leader focused on Autonomous Maintenance, the Shift Leader ensures shift safety, coordinates all production work, and drives continuous improvement on the plant floor.
Job Responsibilities- Build a safety culture through leadership: drive expectations, facilitate safety training, maintain EHS compliance, and correct hazards.
- Lead and develop talent: engage teams, build effective work teams, partner with stakeholders for training, enforce policies.
- Manage production: staff shift, meet operational targets, autonomously resolve issues, execute loss‑tree methodology, utilize manufacturing systems, promote TPM culture through training, FI events, 5S, CI activities; collaborate to optimize output.
- Lead Autonomous Maintenance Coordinator (AMC) processes: perform AMC functions, drive CI and FI within AM teams, facilitate AM events.
- 3–5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of manufacturing leadership.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship; position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Proven record of driving results through employee engagement and problem‑solving.

- Six Sigma Green Belt and/or continuous improvement experience.
- Proficiency with computer programs and Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements
- Use PPE, exposure to heat/cold, noise periodically.
- Hand/eye coordination, walk/sit/stand throughout shift.
- Lift/carry/move up to 25 lb independently, heavier with assistance.
- Climb stairs, steps, ladders.
- Extended hours as needed.
- Operate computers/equipment for quality, safety, compliance.
- Communicate face‑to‑face, by phone, and electronically.
- Manual dexterity, visual acuity for controls and documentation.
