TIG Welder - Stainless Steel

Penmac Staffing is currently hiring for an Industrial Machine Shop TIG Welder to fill an opening with a Metal Fabrication facility company located in Fort Smith, AR. The ideal candidate should be a highly skilled technician to work out of our machine/welding shop. A stable work history that demonstrates reliability.
* You must be willing to explain any and all gaps in employment history.

• The position will require considered candidates to complete a skills test onsite with our client.
• Must be an experienced TIG welder using stainless steel for an established metal fabrication shop in the Fort Smith area.
• Depending on work needs and client needs, the position may require some traveling.
• Must have good attendance and be able to work in a shop environment that is not temperature-controlled.

• Starting pay is $16.00/hr pay will increase based on work performance and experience
• 1st shift
• Full-time - Overtime as required!

• Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
• Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
• Work with the facility manager to continually update the production process and system software.
• Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.
• Safely operate power tools, hoists, and hand tools.
