- Provide tactical direction and support for a production team
- Create and maintain a safe and sanitary production area
- Ensure products meet or exceed established standards
- Develop and lead business unit employees to achieve plant objectives
- Drive continuous improvement using NCE and other tools
- Coordinate production activities in the assigned area
- Maximize production efficiency and product flow, reduce loss, and increase yield
- Ensure company policies, quality procedures, GMPs, HACCP, NQS, SSOP, and FTQ requirements are understood and followed
- Achieve safety and productivity goals and direct the team accordingly
- Manage controllable labor and material costs during assigned shifts
- Train, develop, and coach associates individually and as a team
- Provide resources for decision-making and problem-solving
- Reduce environmental impact and waste
- Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, HR, Finance, Engineering, Quality, SHE, IP, and other business units
- Make autonomous decisions under the direction of the Senior Production Manager
- Support plant KPIs for Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Cost
- Support adherence to the department operating budget and material variance
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent experience
- Three to five years in a similar role in a manufacturing environment desired, preferably food industry
- Strong computer skills
- Preference for SAP experience
- Problem-solving skills
- Coaching skills
- Exposure to digital manufacturing tools such as POKA or similar connected worker platforms is a plus
- Compliance with Nestlé programs and policies, including SHE, NCE, TPM, GMPs, and Safety Policies
- Meet requirements related to NQMS and ISO standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Occupational Health and Safety
- Superior verbal and written communication, leadership, and planning skills
- Ability to understand and clarify complex problems
- Ability to identify and suggest new opportunities

Demonstrates expertise in production management, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficient in coaching and developing teams to achieve operational excellence and maximize efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
