These units support patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions, giving you the opportunity to build a strong foundation in diverse clinical skills. While you ll have a home unit, we believe in cross-training to broaden your expertise and confidence in caring for patients with varying conditions, comorbidities, and procedures.

Provide direct patient care across Med Surg units, supporting patients preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions. Participate in cross-training to broaden expertise and confidence in caring for patients with varying conditions and procedures. Collaborate with the health care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and safe clinical outcomes.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (or equivalent experience with licensure).
• Licensure: Current LPN license in the state of practice; must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - required within 30 days of hire.
  • Additional certifications may be required based on unit (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., IV Certification within 1 year).
