You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, administration, and nursing staff, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and support patients of all ages and backgrounds with compassionate, culturally sensitive care. This role also includes overseeing pain management, responding appropriately to signs of abuse or neglect, participating in nursing committees, and upholding Mercy’s mission, values, and service standards.

Position Details- Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required or must be obtained within 2 years (current enrollment preferred). - Licensure:
Active RN license in the state of practice. - Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years of clinical experience in the specialty or a related area. Demonstrated ability in management principles, staff supervision, teaching, performance improvement, and budgeting. - Technical skills:
Basic computer proficiency, including data entry, Windows, and MS Office. - Certifications:
CPR and NRP required. - Other Requirements:
All licensed caregivers providing direct patient care must successfully pass a medication and math competency exam prior to administering medications. This assessment includes commonly used drug actions, side effects, dosage calculations, and IV math.
