The new Mercy Hospital Fort Smith Dedicated Orientation Unit is an 18‑bed unit focused on teaching newly hired Mercy caregivers the fundamental skills necessary to be successful. The unit cares for Medical Telemetry patients with a 6:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio. Each nurse will act as a preceptor to two newly hired Mercy caregivers, directly impacting the future of nursing and progressing your leadership skillset.

- Sign‑On Bonus

Up to $10,000 for full‑time RNs - Minimum Experience
:
At least 1 year of nursing experience, no contract required - Incentives
:
Relocation assistance up to $3,000;
Stay Premium Program up to $8/hour based on years of Mercy service;

- Education
:
Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN) - Licensure
:
Must maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements - Experience
:
Minimum three years of nursing practice - Preferred Experience
:
Prior mentor or preceptor experience; prior medical‑surgical experience highly favored - Certifications
:
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Card or equivalent; ACLS and BLS within 90 days of hire
