Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Follow all nursing division standards of practice and regulatory agency requirements. Complete patient assessment and develop plan of care in collaboration with the surgical team. Document nursing interventions and treatments along with patient response. Anticipate needs of the surgical team by correctly assembling needed supplies for each procedure according to surgeon preference.
Recognize potential problems and abnormal findings and communicate them to the appropriate team member. Document perioperative data accurately and appropriately.
