RN OR Circulator Vascular

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) OR Circulator will provide skilled nursing care primarily in the Vascular operating room with responsibilities extending to Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and General OR as needed. This role requires expertise in vascular surgical procedures, familiarity with the DaVinci robotic system, and the ability to collaborate effectively within the surgical team. The RN will work 36 hours per week across three 12-hour day shifts, participating in weekend and holiday call rotations, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.

• Provide perioperative nursing care in Vascular, CVOR, and General Operating Rooms.
• Serve as OR circulator during surgical procedures, managing patient care and surgical environment.
• Utilize knowledge of the DaVinci robotic system during applicable surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in call rotations including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards within the OR setting.
• Document patient care activities and surgical details accurately and timely.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year of vascular OR nursing experience.
• Knowledge and experience working with the DaVinci robotic surgical system.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room and General OR nursing.
• Minimal Return to Office (RTO) requirements and flexibility to meet schedule demands.

• Participation in weekend call rotation every 2nd or 3rd weekend.
• On-call duties include 2 call days per week and holiday rotation.
• Willingness to float between Vascular, CVOR, and General OR based on surgical needs.

• 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour day shifts.
• Schedule includes weekend and holiday call rotations as assigned.
