LPN - Rogers Ave Clinic

Position Details

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed state practitioner or a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients and coordinates care in conjunction with other departments.

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; comparable education and successful licensure considered.
• Obtains and maintains a current LPN license in the hiring state, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
• May be new or experienced LPN.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or other unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Preferred: IV certification within 1 year of hire.

• Push, pull, lift and/or turn patients with assistance up to 50 pounds; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
• Stand or walk for most of the shift; prolonged standing and walking required.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat during duties.
