RN - Hospice; Non-Exempt

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice, PRN (Weekends & Holidays)

• Provide skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients in their homes, following physician prescriptions and nursing standards.
• Assess patient needs, manage pain, and support end-of-life care, demonstrating understanding of hospice philosophy.
• Document care accurately in electronic medical records and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Adapt to physical demands including lifting, walking, and maneuvering to ensure patient safety and comfort.

• Graduation from an approved nursing school and current licensure by the State Board.
• CPR certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Preferred experience in hospice or long-term care, with knowledge of death, dying, and bereavement.
• Excellent observation, assessment, communication, and computer skills.
• Self-directed, flexible, and able to work independently within a team environment.
