Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Role:

Registered Nurse responsible for delivering patient care using the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate care quality, coordinate interdisciplinary efforts, uphold standards, and adhere to organizational mission and values.

• Nursing degree (Associate, Diploma, or BSN), current RN licensure, at least 1 year of ER experience preferred, and BLS certification. Additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or TNCC may be required based on unit specifications.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for long periods, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and kneeling. Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills are essential.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; collaborate with healthcare team; maintain confidentiality; and ensure compliance with standards.
