RN – Hospice; Non-Exempt

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled professional nursing care to terminally ill patients in their homes, following physician prescriptions and nursing standards.

• Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive hospice care, assess patient needs, manage pain and symptoms, and document care accurately within electronic medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support patients and families through end-of-life processes.
• Qualifications: Graduation from an approved nursing program, current licensure, and CPR certification. Must be a licensed driver.

  Skills & Experience:
  
  Recent hospice or long-term care experience, familiarity with death, dying, and bereavement issues, and at least one year of general nursing experience.
• Skills & Abilities: Strong observation, assessment, communication skills, knowledge of hospice philosophy, pain management, and the ability to work independently and within a team. Proficient in computer documentation.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical movements like reaching, bending, and kneeling.
