Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and safety observations.
  • Assist with employee safety training and onboarding.
  • Participate in incident and near‑miss investigations.
  • Help identify hazards and develop practical solutions.
  • Support safety programs, regulatory compliance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in projects that reduce risk and improve workplace safety.
  • Build relationships with employees and become a trusted safety resource.

Qualifications
  • Manufacturing, military, emergency response, leadership, or safety‑related experience.
  • Coursework or training related to safety, occupational health, environmental science, industrial technology, or continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading teams, mentoring others, coaching, or training employees.
  • OSHA training, First Aid/CPR certification, or other safety‑related certifications.
  • Experience identifying problems, improving processes, and helping others work safely.
Education

High School Diploma or GED is required and a degree in a related field is preferred.
