Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization
  • Conduct workplace inspections and safety observations
  • Assist with employee safety training and onboarding
  • Participate in incident and near-miss investigations
  • Help identify hazards and develop practical solutions
  • Support safety programs, regulatory compliance efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in projects that reduce risk and improve workplace safety
  • Build relationships with employees and become a trusted safety resource

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing, military, emergency response, leadership, or safety-related experience
  • Coursework or training related to safety, occupational health, environmental science, industrial technology, or continuous improvement
  • Experience leading teams, mentoring others, coaching, or training employees
  • OSHA training, First Aid/CPR certification, or other safety-related certifications
  • Experience identifying problems, improving processes, and helping others work safely

Education

High School Diploma or GED is required and a degree in a related field is preferred.
