Shift Details- 2nd Shift: Debone Plant
- Dept. 1572 Quality Assurance Technician
- Pay Rate: $16.75 per hour
- Shift Time: QA time is rotated weekly as listed below.
- DSI Line: 5:10 p.m. until end of shift (hour varies)
- Wing Room/Tenders/Pack out-SSX: 5:00 p.m. until end of shift (hour varies)
- Floor: 5:00 p.m. until end of shift (hour varies)
Position requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Please bring proof to interview.

- Performs testing using approved procedures.
- Creates records in a manner that meets quality standards.
- Reports all important events to Lead and/or Quality Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Responsible for any and all directives set forth by Senior Quality Management.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
:
High school diploma or GED.
Language Skills
:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English; ability to write simple correspondence in English; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Mathematical Skills
:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to solve mathematical equations involving ruler readings, percentages, averages, rounding, and conversion of grams, pounds and ounces.
Reasoning Ability
:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Must be able to pass the Quality Control math test.
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
WorkEnvironment
The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
