Job title:

Assistant Manager (franchise opportunity). The role focuses on leading a team, ensuring policy adherence, quality service, and operational execution across the shift.

• Be responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Lead by example and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image, and adherence to standards.
• Deliver great customer service; manage attendance, punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
• Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety in line with store policies.

• Ability to comprehend and convey written instructions clearly.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone.

• Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately; may use a calculator.
• Make correct monetary change and process orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Effective verbal and written communication; strong eye-hand coordination for fast, accurate tasks.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Ability to deliver product to customers while navigating diverse delivery sites, including multi-story buildings.

• Expose to varying weather, in-store temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+, and occasional temperature changes.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped work spaces (e.g., walk-in cooler).
• Hot oven surfaces (up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges or moving parts.
• Delivery activities may involve driving in various conditions and times.

Standing for most tasks; walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, reaching, and occasional crouching/squatting as part of duties. Tasks involve lifting cases up to approximately 50 pounds, and handling supplies and pizza components as needed. Driving may be required for deliveries.

Must have a favorable driving and criminal record check. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
