Central Offices – Retail Key Account Manager

Key Account Manager Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients to understand their needs, preferences, and challenges within the company's products or services.
  • Sales Coordination:
    Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless order processing, timely delivery of products, and efficient resolution of any client‑related issues.
  • Data Analysis:
    Collect and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for account development strategies.
  • Client Presentations:
    Assist in preparing and conducting presentations and product demonstrations for key clients to showcase the value of our products and services.
  • Business Development:
    Identify potential opportunities for account growth and upselling within existing key accounts.
  • Contract Management:
    Support the negotiation and administration of contracts and service agreements with key clients, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date documentation.
  • Market Research:
    Stay informed about industry trends, competitors' activities, and changes in client needs to inform account management strategies.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Sales Targets:
    Support the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, client retention, and overall account growth.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver a cohesive and outstanding customer experience.
Required Qualifications
  • 3 years’ direct sales experience selling a protein (chicken, turkey, beef, pork, fish) to retailers, grocers, or wholesalers.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or a customer‑facing role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Result‑driven and customer‑focused with a desire to contribute to client satisfaction and company success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college or university and a minimum of three (3) years of direct sales experience working with retailers, and/or wholesalers.
