Our Security Officers for a leading retail location monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post includes routine mobile patrols and supports day-to-day operations with agility, reliability, and integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter spaces, noting unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor for unauthorized activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to help support loss prevention efforts and help to deter unwanted activity on site.

+ Assist with de-escalation, provide directions and information, and support a professional environment for customers and staff during routine operations and/or high-traffic periods.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
