TRAILER TECHNICIAN – 2ND SHIFT (Independence, KY)

$20–$30 per hour plus weekly productivity bonuses. Weekly pay. PMs, brakes, suspension, and general trailer repairs. Career growth with industry‑leading training.

Fleet Pride is growing and we’re looking for Trailer Technicians to join our team in Independence, KY.

If you have experience with trailer PMs, DOT inspections, brakes, suspension, air systems, and general trailer repairs, we want to talk with you. Some experience with trailer body repairs, doors, panels, flooring, welding, or structural repairs is preferred, but not required. We are willing to help the right technician continue developing those skills.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • PM services & DOT inspections
  • Brake & air system repairs
  • Suspension & axle repairs
  • Electrical diagnostics & repairs
  • Landing gear, doors & general trailer repairs
  • Welding & minor structural repairs
  • Trailer body repairs (based on experience)
  • Reefer repairs (a plus)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 3+ years of heavy‑duty trailer repair experience preferred
  • Strong PM, brake, suspension, and air system experience
  • Some exposure to trailer body repairs, welding, doors, panels, flooring, or structural repairs preferred
  • Ability to provide your own tools & toolbox
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • CDL is a plus, not required
  • Safety‑focused, reliable, and motivated
