Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned compact construction equipment.
  • Perform repairs in shop and in field with direction from the CCE Mobile Service Manager.
  • Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment, with emphasis on hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts charged and returned.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met.
  • Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure equipment and parts areas are in excellent, safe operating condition.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and maintain quality housekeeping in shop area.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, prevent accidents, and damage to personnel and equipment.
Qualifications
  • 2 years or more experience with Heavy Equipment and/or Compact Construction Equipment.
  • Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge performing service repairs.
  • Demonstrated experience consistently meeting performance metrics preferred.
  • Experience performing repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures on machines of the technician's specialty.
  • Experience with the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, or heavy equipment.
  • Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
  • Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR or other computer-based diagnostic repair tools preferred.
  • Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred.
