Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 after 90 days, $500 after 6 months, $500 after 1 year

Shift - Fixed Evening Panama schedule (2-2-3), alternating weekly for every-other weekend 3-day weekend

Works rotating shifts, weekends, and OT.

High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Basic computer skills
Able to function in a team environment.
And one of the following:
Five (5) year experience in any of the following maintenance skill areas: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, LUBRICATION, WELDING, AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE, OR PIPE FITTING.
OR
Five (5) year vocational/technical education in the mechanical discipline: MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, OR PIPE FITTING.
The Job You Will Perform:knowledge of types of pitch, diameter of gears (spur, bevel, right angle, herringbone and rack and pinion); ability to install and check for backlash and wear and maintain gears; knowledge of all tools and proficient with scales, tape measures, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, torque wrenches and pullers 6 - performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed;
read and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and diagrams; ability to design, build and install simple pneumatic and hydraulic systems 7 - safely operating the boiler, and maintaining adequate operation steam pressure (greater than or equal to 180 PSI) 8 - knowledge of mechanical drives and their function and troubleshooting 9 - knowledge of rigging (coma longs, port-a-power, blocking, chain falls, slings, chokers, hydraulic jack, machine dollies, booms and spreader bars 10 - proficient in all types of welding (torch, stick, mig and tig) 11 - identify types of bearing and class of fits (roller, ball, tapered & cylindrical and spherical) identify proper sizing of belts, sheaves, sprockets & chains.
12 - maintaining clean and organized work areas, and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks 13 - accurately and completely preparing and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork 14 - utilize maintenance computer system to enter notifications, time, research parts, manuals, drawings, etc. 15 - trouble-shooting and solving problems 16 - maintaining teamwork with other associates 17 - keeping supervision informed of problems and/or unusual situations
The maintenance supervisor evaluates maintenance technician qualifications.
Proven experience as an electrician
Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Knowledge of the function and wiring of PLC's
Locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment
Knowledge of the functions of motor frequency drives
This is a Safety Sensitive position
