We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver with a CDL license to join our team. The driver will be responsible for pulling and delivering loads of fencing materials in the local Seattle area. The ideal candidate will have experience with local routes, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
This role includes occasional Saturday shifts during peak seasons.

Responsibilities- Safe and Timely Deliveries:
- Deliver fencing materials to customers in the local Seattle area.
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and meet safety standards.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient deliveries.
- Load Management:
- Assist in loading and unloading materials at the yard and delivery sites.
- Verify that deliveries match the order paperwork.
- Inspect the vehicle and loads for safety before and after deliveries.
- Customer Interaction:
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional and courteous during deliveries.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and locations.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper operation.
- Report any vehicle issues to the management team immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including CDL license and medical certifications.
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles and delivering construction materials is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Strong knowledge of local Seattle routes and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with up to 2 Saturday shifts per month during peak seasons (7:00 AM to 12:00 PM).
- Paid Time Off: About 2 weeks of paid time off per year, increasing to 3 weeks after 2 years of employment.
- Customer satisfaction scores.
- Compliance with safety regulations.
- Vehicle maintenance and inspection reports.
- Accuracy of delivered orders.
