Job Title:
Team Leader III (Warehouse Supervisor)
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all functions of the warehouse to ensure smooth operations of all activities. The supervisor will be responsible for securing the warehouse and supervising staff, maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items.
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities)- Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse operational improvements.
- Meets warehouse financial standards by monitoring operational best practices and maintaining efficiency.
- Meets safety goals by ensuring 100% compliance with company Safety Program.
- Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
- Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Maintains metrics.
- Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems.
- Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Education and Experience
- 4+ years as a Supervisor in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Proficient with all MS Office programs.
- Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Experienced in analyzing data and reporting.
- Experience with Locus and/or JDE (Not required).
- Ability to work in a team; team player.
- Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must have flexibility and ability to adapt to different situations.
- Must have great customer service orientation.

This is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Weekend and holiday work will vary depending on business needs.
