Pricing and Commercial Manager

PWM is seeking a Pricing and Commercial Manager to build competitive, disciplined, and executable pricing strategies for defence, aerospace, OEM, and strategic industrial pursuits. This role helps PWM balance win probability, production feasibility, customer expectations, and margin.

• 5+ years of experience in pricing, estimating, costing, commercial analysis, or program finance.
• Strong background in manufacturing or engineered-product costing.
• Advanced Excel and financial-modeling capability.
• Experience with BOM-driven costing, labour/routing logic, supplier quote analysis, and margin management.
• Ability to work with technical and operational teams to validate assumptions.

• Build detailed cost models using material inputs, BOMs, routing assumptions, labour standards, machine time, supplier quotes, testing requirements, freight, overheads, and risk factors.
• Lead pricing strategy discussions with capture, engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership.
• Conduct what-if analysis, sensitivity analysis, and commercial scenarios to support pricing decisions.
• Prepare quote packages, pricing narratives, assumptions logs, approval summaries, and negotiation support materials.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing for completeness, realism, and competitiveness.
• Support make/buy decisions, risk reserves, margin analysis, and commercial approvals.
• Help establish pricing templates, estimating standards, and bid costing discipline across the company.
• Support award transition by documenting the commercial basis of estimate and pricing assumptions.
