This permanent, full-time role requires researching, gathering, and presenting news stories in English. With a focus on independence and creativity, you will collaborate with assignment producers in Yellowknife to generate innovative story ideas and maintain an engaging on-air presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and gather news stories for multiple platforms
• Package and present content effectively on air
• Build relationships with sources for story generation
• Produce creative video treatments independently
• Collaborate with remote producers for guidance
Requirements:
• University degree or diploma in journalism
• At least two years in journalism or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Flexibility to work varying hours
• Familiarity with Avis systems is an asset
