Position: Materials Handler (FLO/ HAZMAT)

Duties

Help

  • Ensures the safe receipt, storage, and movement of hazardous materials.
  • Operates various forklift trucks to lift loads weighing up to 10,000 lbs. as high as 168 inches.
  • Performs temporary warehousing space planning.
  • Maintains customer accounts records utilizing automated systems to fill orders.
  • Checks barcodes of incoming items for accuracy.
  • Issues items from stock, verifies signature match with authorized signature cards.
  • Screens shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies and identifies items damaged in shipment.
  • Participates in inventories by verifying count types and quantities of items.
