Position: Management and Program Analyst.
  • Serve as a staff analyst to design, review, develop, coordinate and monitor implementation of plans, policies, procedures, and the operations planning process.
  • Serve as the DES Services Safety Officer for Directorate of Emergency Services (DES).
  • Serve as the directorate Internal Control Administrator (ICA) as part of the Management Internal Control Program.
  • Serve as a Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) crisis action team member in the Installation Emergency Operations Center during emergencies.
  • Produce emergency action response plans to synchronize the combined DES response at identified critical assets across the installation.
  • Represent Directorate of Emergency Services top level management with independent decision authority.

Specialized Experience

One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Determining methods for maintaining organizational policies or work operations;
2) Conducting operational planning and developing course of action on operation system;
3) Forecasting resource requirements for security event planning and execution;
4) Evaluating regulatory requirements for agency compliance and providing senior leaders briefs or reports; and
5) Identifying and evaluating mission risk and developing mitigation strategies for senior leadership approval. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).

Time in Grade Requirement

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
