Duties
- Serve as the Range Supply Management Officer and Direct Supervisor for the Range Operations Support section.
- Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term and long-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- Monitor and track expenditures of allocated funds, Operations and Maintenance Appropriations (OMA) and Other Procurement, Army (OPA) for the organization.
- Approve all purchases and reviews orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the daily acquisition of supplies and services by providing advice and assistance in resolving supply support problems.
Conditions of employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent is required to complete General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) Certification through the Defense Logistics Agency.
- Individual must obtain a valid state driver's license.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Position requires incumbent to serve a 1 year Supervisory probationary period upon entrance into the position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes:
Interpreting and applying distribution management policies and procedures;
Resolving conflicting issues concerning supply management operations; and Preparing inventory lists and adjusting property records as required to ensure accuracy. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

- Planning and Evaluating
Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
- This is a Career Program (CP) 13 - Supply Management position.

- If a MSP applicant is determined best qualified and selected, placement must be at the full performance level for priority consideration.
